The Bradford family’s racing history dates back to the late 40s and 50s when Randy’s father, Brad Bradford, was racing roadsters at dry lakes and Santa Ana airport drags. Randy himself started drag racing in 1963 in a 1940 Ford pickup, and then a C/Gas 1955 Chevy in which he and his dad were partners. In 1966 they moved into fuel altered racing, purchasing a Fiat Topolino and building an injected Chevy 427. A supercharger soon followed, then a Chrysler Hemi, and the rest is history. The Bradfords paused fuel altered racing in 1972, but Randy returned in 2000 with a replica of the original car.

ACME have honoured this historcially significant race car with this faithful limited edition replica, complete with lightweight body, detailed supercharged injected Chevy, and authentic race wheels and components. The body flips up to reveal all of the details, including the spartan interior where only the bravest took their place. The ngraphics are superb and listed on the nose cone is a thank you to the who's who of drag racing in the 1960s.

Features include:

  • Removable body
  • Poseable steering
  • Plumbed and wired engine
  • Cloth seatbelts
  • Real rubber tyres
