The 1957 Chevy will also have a special place in every auto enthusiasts heart. Chevy lovers have been cruising and racing them since the time they hit the dealerships with a 283 cubic inch V8 that exemplified performance and economy in this golden period.
This latest rendition by ACME screams high school hot rod - a base model 150 Series two door sedan, void of extravagant Bel Air trim and a towering engine, instead tastefully dressed with period perfect SS Cragar mags with a slight rake and race rubber on the rear. There's a sprinkle of chrome over the hearty small block which boasts performance headers and exhaust. Inside is elegantly simple but there's a third pedal and a Hurst floor shift to help pilot this shoebox down the strip or street under maximum acceleration!
Only 300 of these classic 'Day 2' Chevys will be produced.
